just wondering if any1 knows if radiator(fluilyne) from gst or gsx would fit on 99 gs, yeah i know they have one made for us but summitracing doesnt seem to carry one, and i have couple of things i bought from them and just want to exchange it for fluilyne radiator, thank you

Actually, they don't make one (Fluidyne at least...) for us. The inlet and outlet ports on a 2G 4G63 radiator aren't the same as a 2G 420A radiator; although the radiator itself will fit into the brackets. I know Koyo makes a specific 420A aluminum radiator, as does RadiatorBarn.com. I believe RRE modifies 4G63 radiators by re-welding the ports in the proper configuration for the 420A.

i looked up getting one about a year ago found them on ebay too no where else.

I'm thinking about coughing up the money and getting one from Ron Davis. I just need to get some more information from them about core density and whatnot.

Yes, it has the Fluidyne metal plate and it wasn't rewelded. I got it about 1.5 years ago.

From the fluidyne catalog. The part is listed on page 6. I also did a part# search on yahoo and multiple vendors came up.

YES, FLUIDLYNE does make them for the 420a our Dsm cars, and SummitRacing does carry them too. I bet you talked to a Rep. on the Phone, well there Reps. are Dumb. They always tell say there's nothing for the 420a engines, but there is..

Summit has them for 398 and might be on backorder but they do have them. Koyo has raditors for ours too. Order a SummitRacing catalog they're Free. I could also, send you one if you want. I have alot laying around and I use one as a mouse pad lol.

Advance auto says the same thing too. and especially about the MSD coil packs, again they don't know jack. Get a second opinion, when someone says there's no performance parts for the 420a. Personally these people would tell you to buy a HONDA,MUSTANG,or FireBird.
I would never buy either but I would drive a Honda just as a beater ride,save Gas to and from work thats about it.

I live 25mins from Tallmadge,OH Summit is great they have fast,friendly service at the store and low-prices. They're phone Reps. is another story there? I haven't see any other DSM owner go except myself and two others. But seems like Summit likes Hondas/Mustangs more :(

Fluidyne has made them for at least 3 years. Its nothing new. RRE has them for 350.00 last i checked
