well i just got brand new rims .yay .they look so good but now i cant put them on . i was taking off the old rims(tuner lugs) like usual with a impact gun . 1off2off3off4off 5 SNAP . The splined tuner lug snapped in half . the only part thats left is the thick bottom piece thats beveled .there are no spline key part left . i really need a way to get the rest off ? please someone come thru with some good advise . i got no clue how im going to remove it . My car must be really attached to the old rims !

You're going to have to drill out the lug itself. Slowly. Or put the other lugnuts back on and take it to a wheel shop and have them torch/ drill out the lug.

I had a similar problem with a lock lug, it got stuck on the stud and I had no key, I found a slim walled deep socket and pounded it onto the body of the lug and then used a ratchet to get it out... may work for you.. may not... If you want to try it.
Good luck!

I'm trying to picture it in my head with the tire on (the garage is too cold right now - i.e. too much of a pussy to go out first thing in the morning) but if you can get to the backside of the stud and grind down the flat end you could knock it through from the backside. Otherwise, it's the drill out.

i tried bolt outs from sears . tried banging a 8 point socket on it . no lug with either . tommorow im going to take it somewhere and maybe they can weld a nut on it . im gonna try drilling it if that dont work . it is a hard to reach area tho cuz the rim hole is recessed so theres not much room . keep the ideas flowin and feel free to call me a idiot . lol

The bad thing is they rim is fucked up beond repair and they cut off the hub stud with the piece of lug . How can i fix the hub stud now ?

was gonna sell them but only have 2 and 3/4 good ones left now . lol . If you want them ill do 100 + shipping . 2 have just minor curb rash . the other 1 has a fixable crack and the last one is all chewed up around the lug hole thats probably fixable with some body work and paint .
