Im not to sure if Im posting this in the right area, but I have a guy who wants to sell me his Turbo, Manifold, and o2 housing off his SRT4 for 200 shipped. Is this a good deal?

Also should I ask for the coolant lines and oil lines, or do you think theyd be too short? Please lmk

Its a good deal if you have a SRT-4 but if you have a 420a, forget about it. The manifold will not work.

I read that it could work, it just needs a little bit of grinding. The manifold lines up too, doesnt it?

Do some more searching around on here about fitment, but IMO it's not worth bothering trying to get it to work when there are very proven options that are true bolt on for slightly more money.

I dont know man. Im a cheap MOFO...lol. I think I might get it, cause I told him what yall told me and hes dropping the price. If I have to Ill make it work. I have access to a garage with basically anything you can think of at my disposal (after work hours of course).

I didnt go through with it. I was thinking about what you said, and like you said, it would def be more trouble than what its worth. So Im on a search to piece together a turbo setup. Yeah....(sigh)

Well as long as the turbo is good is what you are looking for, see if you could JUST get the turbo then buy a Oil line and drain Kit ( around $70) and Have a muffler shop custom made you a Manifold. You must order Flanges then the mufler shop can grind and weld all the tubing together, I recomend buy several pipe segments that the muffler place can use for tight bends because most Muffler shops dont have Mandrel benders ( pinches diameter of pipe the tighter the turn) JGSturbo.com has flanges and Pipe segments. The cheap easy way is Logstyle but I am sure it you spend the extra 50 bucks the welder can be a little more straight forward with the positioning of the exhaust path. :) http://jgsturbo.com/index2.html You could find a Tial 38mm on ebay unless you use the internal wastegate ( also cheaper) The muffler shop can simply make the manifold fit your SRT4 turbo, Please be sure and MAKE THEM fabricate you an exhaust Heat shield. They can make one out of a spare section of 5" or 6" pipe intended for Diesels. Cutting up a Pipe and making tabs to bolt on the turbo is simple for them but it will save you alot of trouble because there are two water pipes that pass right by where the turbo is and one hose above to the left. they WILL bust on a hot day if theres nothing to block some of the heat. A simple shield does wonders, It blocks radiant heat and keeps hot air in a thin pocket by the turbo.

Yeah except you can't do that. The SRT turbo/manifold is one piece. And please watch the threads you're posting in because you've bumped some old ones, makes the mod team a bit suspicious as to whether your motive for being here is to just try and sell some shit or it's genuine.
