If your like me which a lot seemingly are, You installed your SAFC and hit the dreaded 12 14 55. 12 and 55 mean nothing, but that 14 does, map too high/too low. I got sick of seeing the CEL every time I drove so I doublechecked my connections on the yellow/black to make sure they we tight and solid. I then removed my missing link and cleaned a lot of crap out of it, as well as my map sensor and the area on the intake manifold where they connect. It worked for me, hopefully it will work for you. Let me know what happens.

I feel better knowing nothing is wrong with my car. I got the same problem that dam 12 14 55 but my car is running great. I will try checking some connections when i get a chance.

Some cars, usually 96's, will get it regardless of how squeeky clean everything is. They get it because the ECU is programmed to do some weird MAP signal verification agaist some other parameters such as throttle position and engine rpm, and the SAFC can throw that out of whack.

I never got a code on my 98 GS with my SAFC.

yea mine is on to on my 96 talon with a 97 420a engine. it suck I hope it doesnt kill my speed. hey what is everyone tunning there SAFC2 ? what do you got them set on

I been looking for a couple days, I am running a hahn setup fuel system, is it really useful for me to install a SAFC, I have one but I never used one. I am using everything from Hahn for the fuel system including their " fuel mapper" gizmo that wires to the map sensor. any ideas?
