116594, Fidenza Cam Gears and Stock Cam position/faceing questions.

Ok its been a long time since Ive felt motivated to work on this beast as Ive work at a Ford house as a Diesel Tech here in Ft. Worth and am very unmotivated to work on another vehicle when I get home that and Ive been playing with my 04 Double R(CBR1000rr). So if anyone would mind here are some of the questions I got:

First, The stock cams have a circular hole cut in them on the shaft and should be faceing upwards, correct? (currently, circular hole faceing down on both cams.)

Second, Fidenza Cam Gears am I supose to mock them up with the stock gears to get the correct timing marks to proplery time the engine. As I was messing around with the current cam gears, the timing marks are about a full tooth off with the cams caps on and torqued(currently cams are possibly 180 off A.T.M.)

Third, The cyl head was decked(I dont know how much) and built by ERT a long time ago so. Should I just set up the timing and the adjust gears after engine is running to get the correct amount of engine vaccum at idle?

Any other info about anything cool.

Thanks,
Dirk
