116484, Inspection help....NH LAWS SUCK Posted by eclipsed08, Feb-21-08 01:55 AM
Ok guys please help...My car hasn't been on the road for a long while, haven't had a license.
Well my issues are going to be this nightmare evap system...it's GONE.
And here in NH it's a MUST. Is there any way to trick the ECU in keeping the evap light codes off. This is going to keep me off the road this summer if I don't get it fixed...I hope there is a way without having to buy everything to rebuild the system.
Please someone help me.
List of things I need to do to get on the road.... 1. strip off complete tint job..(there goes my rear defrost) 2. Fix The whole evap system 3. Put stock seat belts back in 4. Adjust the ride hight 5. take off CAI 6. Put stock ecu back in

Hey, there is a wrecked avenger here at my local junk yard.. and a.. man i cant remember the name of the car model now.. some chrysler one.. stratus i think?? anyways it has the same interior and doors and such.. and a crap load of neons..
but anyways, what i was getting at, is that the avenger still has the shocks, no engine, but the stratus or whatever has everything.. and well you know of anything that can be swapped outta a neon into our cars.. let me know.. cuz there is a bunch there!!
so i hope some of this may help?? i think the evap is still on the avenger?? (thats that black can thing on the passenger side behind the front bumper?? right?)
anyways aside from my awesome technical lingo, i wont charge you anything to go pull that stuff.. on my next day off, you let me know.. and i will see what i can find.. and i'll get it all together and you or i can arrange shipping.. i hope some of what i can offer may help you get on the road??
let me know?

No you can not trick the ECU into thinking that the EVAP system is on the car and working.

I thought there was some kind of resistor trick or something...
Well I'm about to buy a completely new Evap system...starting from the damn roll over valve.
