Do you guys want us to start selling them. They are a direct replacement for the factory one. The spec on it is 90 LPH (spec I can find), these are 255 LPH and will handle almost an mod. They will be $119.95, do you want us to stock them. The fit 95-98 2GNT?

It would give us an easy place to refer people to when they are looking for them. An ECU replacement would be even better :-D
It couldn't hurt, but it's your business ;-)
Also, quick question, since you're here: Will the clutches listed on your site handle the 300HP that is slowly killing my centerforce? (Slips like MAD past 4000RPM @ 15PSI, 4th or 5th gear)

I can get the high pressure kit, but I want to do some testing before I recommend it.

We will add them to the sight

I know, I know.

I'm about to add a series of new clutches. Stage 1 to 3
Stage I?..High clamp load pressure plate, high performance organic disc, release bearing and pilot tool. Excellent for mild bolt-on cars. Drivability consistent with OEM unit.
Stage II?..High clamp load pressure plate, segmented Kevlar disc, release bearing and pilot tool. Excellent for heavy bolt-on cars, including mild NOS, supercharger and turbo applications. Drivability consistent with OEM unit.
Stage III?..Higher clamp load pressure plate, sprung w/ solid backplate 4 puck disc, release bearing and pilot tool. Available with carbon or ceramic pads. ULTIMATE STREET/RACE UNIT! Maximum performance and drivability in the same package. Excellent for cars with built motors and power adders, including heavy nitrous and high boost. Drivability good, with light chatter through break-in period
That is the descriptions. Pricing will be reasonable

I think it would be worth while stocking the high-pressure 255lph unit versus the regular 255lph...specially because i believe they should be priced fairly close to eachother. And if you do, please make sure you make note of that on your site...it'll attract much more interest than the regular 255lph...

Let me ask you this, why would the high pressure on be the one of choice? It only serves a purpose in forced induction cars, volume in NA cars prefered over pressure.

I know of no NA DSMs that run high volume pumps, regardless of pressure. Neons may be another story, as there is a plethora of NA equipment for them, but not us, for the most part. Few if any have taken the Eclipse/Talon NT to the level that would require that pump and stayed NA.
But since you are primarily a Neon supplier, i can see it working. Most of the 2GNT's i know of that would require that pump would need it because they are planning to turbocharge.
Also, to the best of my knowledge, Walbro no long has two seperate 255's. They quit making the 255LPH in favor of the 255LPH HP, which i believe flows the same but will support higher pressures. I remember reading somewhere that any 255LPH Walbro you buy is actually the HP model.
I may be wrong, there, but i thought it worth of note.

Volume is what is needed. Keep in mind that the injectors are rated at a static pressure. The best way to increase fuel flow is by increase volume and injector size. On NA engines (modified NA engines) we have gotten pretty nice gains with increase volume on stock injectors alone. > >But since you are primarily a Neon supplier, i can see it >working. We sell more NA stuff for 2GNT's than turbo stuff. The High pressure pump seems to be a redondant part, since all of the kits come with an inline booster pump. > >Also, to the best of my knowledge, Walbro no long has two >seperate 255's. The high pressure is a sperate kit from the pump to change the regulator according to Walbro. Your just changing the pressure regulator, but the kits for the turbo include that. That is why I'm questioning the the need for the High Pressure kit. I can see if you were making your own turbo kit, and not buying a ready made kit. > >

May as well have both just for the hell of it. I WAS planning on a full build up All Motor, may still do it, but anyways, I was going to have larger injectors and the 255 HP pump as overkill just to feel safer. Better safe than sorry.

Pretty much answered that. Dont know anyone who wants an upgraded pump without forced induction. The high pressure walbro cant hurt in the NA set up (can it), its able to maintain its flow rate better at high pressure but it wont do anything the regulator doesn't want it to do. If it does I guess I'm screwed cause due to circumstances I have the Walbro NA for the time being.
As for the centerforce, mine couldn't hold 10psi consistantly without slipping. It didnt look too bad when I took it out. My flywheel may have had issues though. Now I got a 6 puck sprung ceramic clutch, a brand new flywheel, HP fuel pump and no damn turbo.

Did you ever put that clutch in? If not, i may take it off your hands.. someday.

>Did you ever put that clutch in? If not, i may take it off >your hands.. someday. Yeah I put it in a week before I sold the turbo. It only cost $329 but you need a nonmodular flywheel. Its not too bad as far as drivability but you can tell its not organic. Suppose to be good to 400hp

Here is a spec sheet for the common walbro pumps (stolen from another Walbro dealer).

Gary,
Are you seriously considering making an ECU replacement?
