115946, 96 evap vac line question Posted by bullettdsm, Mar-31-08 09:45 AM
Tried to match up to a buddy's 95. Doesn't match. I believe I got her correct but can someone let me know the sources on the hard line over/behind the timing gears. On the intake side, does it go to a vac source on the back of the intake (three prong)? And then on the other side (coolant filler side), does it go to a hard line that goes to the cannister (LDP)?
I'm throwing a 31 (well I just put her back on) so I gotta search it out. Just want to be sure of the connections before I go deeper.

That sounds correct, yes.

Yes it goes to the three prong on the back of the intake mani. Don't know how exactly the canister is hooked up though.
I just recently found a vacuum leak in this line near the canister on a friends eclipse. Quite an unusual place to find the cause of a high idle!
