115826, my dipstick tube Posted by talonesiracing, Mar-30-08 12:19 PM
So I'm about to put my engine in and I tried to put my dipstick tube back in and it has a very loose fit. Is there something that needs to go in before the tube?

No, it just presses in. If you're worried about leaks, you could use some black silicon around it, but I've never had a problem with one leaking.

Gasket seal the sides, and tighten the 10mm bolt down and forget about it.
