Well today I tried to disassemble my engine. Tried to take of the crankshaft pully and it was a no go. It suppose to just come off right. I told off the bolt. But still does not want to come off. Any tips?

You need to rent a tool. Try autozone you can rent them for about $60, but you get your money back when you return it. I believe its called a chrysler harmonic damper puller. You can try any 3 jaw puller but the chrysler one works the best for me.

Ummmm??? Are you using a puller b/c reading your post i'm not even sure if you are or if you just expected it to slide off. Anyways go to your local advance/auto zone and rent a 5 ton 3 jaw puller specifically for chrysler applications (it will say so in the little instruction book that comes with it). Anything less and you'll probably have issues trying to get it off

Advanced Auto has an $89.00 loaner tool that may or may not work. It is a heavy duty puller that usually works. I have ruined probably 5 of their pullers because some come off harder than others, but luckily, it is a free replacement item. I have kept the 2 pullers that seem to always work without any more stripping of the threads. You'll see.

Just go to your local auto parts store that rents tools. Ask for a Chrysler jawed pulley puller. Pay the deposit, do the job, return tool and get your money back.

Around here we have VIP Auto Parts stores and they carry (and I think Autozone does too) OEM Tools for loaners, and it's called the Chrysler Harmonic Dampener Puller. It's basically a 3 jaw puller with an attachment for the crank snout, and it just pulls the sucker right off, I used an impact gun and it was a snap. Remember to go on the inside of the pulley, if you go on the outside edge it will wreck it.

BTW, i broke a cheap cast puller yesterday. The friend i borrowed it from is NOT STOKED.

I'm the one that told him it was going to break (if it didn't run out of threading first)
