11575, Am I ruining my Eclipse?
Posted by 1FastEclipse, Jan-09-02 01:09 AM
I like to drive hard on my car. I tend to acclerate fast most of the time but not always. I also occasionally burn out. Now I know that I am wearing down my tires but am I damaging the engine or anything else? Now that is winter donuts are pretty fun too. What do you guys think? Thanks

The harder you drive the more stress you put on partsof the car whether it be suspension or engine, it is more wear... but a car was built to be driven.

The strongest way to block, is never to provoke a blow,
And the cleanest cut is the one withheld."

Are you 5sp or auto? If you're doing burnouts then I would worry about your clutch most of all.
