Ive looked around a little and couldn't find any info on this.. I stripped my power steering and A/C and ive heard of some people looping the ports on the rack after they empty it... I was just kinda wondering what other people have done. I was just gunna leave them open but i wasn't sure if dirt and shit would get in there? Any advice?

Do NOT drain the rack. Loop the ports with a T in the middle so you can fill it / burp it.

That fluid keeps the rack lubricated.

Pull as much line as you can and throw a t on that bitch. Worm clamps and fuel line hose is godsend. Cheap, too.

I had the idea of running two hard lines around the evap lines and connecting them to the resivoir. That way it looks clean and you have a nice place to fill and drain it from if need be. You just need to watch out for the alternator belt.

Or relocate the resivior above the rack on the firewall.

I pulled all the lines without looping them on the rack. Going on a year no problem. Bullettdsm does the same and that is why I did it that way.
