115631, Cheap Silicone Coupler?

Hey,

I was looking around for a cheap 2.5" to 2" reducer for my AEM intake. All I can seem to find is 20-25 shipped for ONE coupler!! Or is this normal?

Im putting a Jeep TB on in the next two weeks and was curious as to where you guys get couplers from.

Doesnt need to be super high quality, as it will see no boost! lol...

Anyways,

Thanks!

If you just wanna go the cheap route you might also wanna check the home depot plumbing section. They have thick black pipe couplers that are meant for pvc pipes but work just as good. If I remember correctly they don't have 2.5 to 2 inch reducer but you can just buy the 2"-2" coupler and just stretch out one of the ends and grease it up to make it fit. That's what I did back when I used one on my car. Once you go turbo though you will need good stuff and the cheapest place I found back when I had to buy like 13 couplers and clamps was www.siliconeintakes.com. Their stuff is 3ply and really worth it if you need the added strength. If you decide to go with siliconeintakes.com pm me cause I think I still have a discount code they emailed me when I made my large order with them.

check local parts store's pre-formed radiator hose section. They'll let you rummage around (usually it's in the back) and measure some, i don't know about that size but those hoses are reinforced and work pretty well.
