So idk if this belongs in the generals forum. But i need a new cluth. Just the clutch.. idk crap about them besides like different stages. Anyone got like a link on info where i can read about this more? i think i need to upgrade to a better one and not a stocker one, any adivce/suggestions that on which one i should get?

I've heard good things about South Bend Clutches. I purchased my clutchmaster clutch from Hahn but haven't gotten a chance to try it out. I've heard mixed reviews on the clutchmaster products though.

Southbend Clutch is your best bet right now. Unless you have one of the oddball 95s, you have a modular clutch, which limits your options. The pressure plate, disc and flywheel are all incorporated into a single unit which slips on and off the input shaft on the transmission. SBC can hook you up with something best suited to your needs.

+1 That's what I'm runnin, best bang for the buck also, as there's not a lot of aftermarket options for modular. Either the OFE or FE will do ya fine, email them and they'll hook you up.

all 95-99 will be modular EXCEPT some '95's, they had an early neon-style setup with a regular flywheel and clutch, not the flexplate/modular clutch assy. Yours will be modular unless it's been screwed with in the past.

ok cool. Well i also checked on how much i have left after this engine rebuilt.. 430 is alot and i really dont have that. Any other ones that is around 300ish? i dont think the stock one would be a great idea either.
