Ok, when I bought my car, and up until the incident, the air worked GREAT.

Then the belts started flying off.

Turned out the AC compressor pulley was wobbly.

So it was winter and I bought a belt to fit only the PS.

Now, do I need to buy a new compressor, or can I tighten the pulley up thats on the compressor?

Replace the AC Clutch. It's possible the compressor is toast, but pull the old clutch first and check it out.

most likely the pulley is slightly bent, had the same thing happen to mine.....replaced the whole compressor..found it used for about 40 bux, the pulley is harder to replace then you think alot of special tools ive rebuilt one before....sux.

I would buy a new compressor. My current one began wobbling after it threw the clutch off on the highway, shortly after it spun the center out and began to grind away at the internals.. It looked pretty cool, glowing and such, but sounded like a train trying to stop on a rough metal plate by crashing into several thousand buses.

Depends on why it was wobly, you could have re torqued the mounting bolts, gotten the right belt and retensioned the acc belt system, which is what i think you should do now. As for working, it should depending on how 'loose' it was. Usually, you would need to drop an ac compressor for it to be inop, but it seems to have been awhile since you had the original problem. hope this helps
