Whats up guys. I just noticed my cars been acting funny..... i did a small wire tuck. Now, my cars throwing a 54 code. It hesitates to start... however, when it starts it runs flawless.

Question is Which sensor would it effect more? 1 did extend the wires to the cam sensor with a little bigger gauge wire? would that mess with it at all... then i switched it back to the way it was... (no more extended wire)

Any input would be great guys. I just really hope that its not the crank sensor.. PINA if you ask me. i dont want to try to replace that. Thanks again!

54 is your cam signal not crank. once it starts it runs right? reset the ecu and see if it comes back.

as for your starting issue, what kind of hard starting is it? does it crank for a long time before firing? does it crank slowly? does it do nothing at first and then crank over?

Well it cranks like it would normally... just a little bit longer than it should.
