114963, Cam timing gear question....Odd Posted by Tuxdreamerx, Jul-25-08 06:51 PM Ok so as I was listing my old cam gears on ebay I noticed they say 2.4L on them...I am very confused because they were on my 95 Talon and as far as I know they were stock so did this car somehow end up with 2.4L cam gears? And was that ok im guessing they may be the same gears. heres a pic

Also they are offset meaning the center spokes on the pulley do not run along the center width of the pulley. They will accept either engine, chrysler just saved a few pennys by doing this.

Ok I was just really confused but after looking at some other ebay listings I realized they fit the 2.4 engines. So I put in the listing that they fit the 2.4's also. Thanks for the fast response.
