so does any body know wat are the biggest mods one can and should do to gain large horse power with out turbos and cheap spray i figured throttle body and camshafts and a port n polished job would help and then do the bore out with over size later when the money comes btu i was thinking the first would do fine for now one guy says do the turbo and not the head we have enough power there

2.4L block, highcomp long-rod forged internals, crower 2 NA grind, MSnS, 60mm tb, quicksilver99 True Header, and 2.5" exhaust.

truly, unless your trying to be unique and have money burning a similar hole as the desire to remain NA, buy a turbo and have fun with your car.

ok, I'll bite...

see list below, increases in price and difficulty as you go down, you can have fun with all motor, but you won't be breaking the sound barrier anytime soon.

cold air intake

underdrive pulley

drag radials (not TOO BIG)

exhaust (maybe a header too)

throttle body

some way to tune the car (SAFC cheaper and easier, but you won't get huge gains, megasquirt for more $$$ and more power, but steeper learning curve and the instal can be tough, although if a moron like me can do it without issue anyone can with time and patience can)

port the intake manifold, it needs help, or replace if you can find someone to fab one up

agressive cams (NOT crower stage 1, NOT crane stage 10 or 12, when it comes to cams go big or don't bother, crower stage 2 or crane 16 at least)

headwork + valve job

UDP is surely one of the things to do. I have yet to do mine but I know the diff one makes
