i just recharged my A/C and now the compressor kicks in and out, blows cold only when the car is stopped and blows hot when im driving, the engine idles erratically and it feels like the car hiccups when im driving. I had the a/c on and it did all that and when i turn the a/c off it accelerates smooth and all those symptoms go away. I went to autozoo to figure out the problem and they said that there was air in the low pressure line and i had to release it and put more freon in it. so i did and that, but it still runs like ass. any help is appreciated.

When you initially charged the A/C in your car did you pull a vacuum on the system? How much R-134a did you put in the car? What pressures are you running on the high and low sides?

never mind guys, i went to my local A/C shop and it turns out that i had 3 yes three times as much freon as i was supposed to. they put it on the machine and pulled the vacuum and filled it right lol. now it runs like it should. thanks freelancefool for the quick reply
