114129, Battery Relocation Posted by TotalEclipse21, Oct-03-08 03:37 AM
I don't know if this thread belongs in here but I was wondering how hard it would be if I were to move the battery to the trunk?Just to be different of course.

Not hard at all!
Just use thick cable :)
BTW, a TON of people have done it ;)

You can buy NHRA legal sealed boxes from Summit or Jegs, and they also sell a relocation kit that comes with 0g power, ground, ring terminals, and new battery terminals.

Both of those come with boxes.

I am thinking about doing this and Those box relocation kits look great! A little expensive though...
I have read on other forums that the battery releases some kind of poisonous gas when it is in use...Some people said you should have it vented outside, but I dont really know if this is a big issue.
