You probably blew a fuse.
Double and triple check that your amp wiring is not touching anything its not supposed to.
Then look in your fuse box for the interior/dash lighting and check the fuse.

Looks like you should remove the stereo bullshit, then. Kinda stupid to have a system using 0AWG power wire that works, when you have no dash lights at night, don't you think? :wary
When you installed the system, you botched something and that's why the dash lights aren't working now. Retrace your steps. Somewhere, you tapped a wire, nicked one, or maybe pulled a ground loose.

That circuit has also has rear tailights, rear window defroster, front parking lights. Mine blew when I had a parking light wire rub agaist a sharp edge and ground out. It is a 15 amp fuse in the engine bay. Don't make the mistake of going to a higher amperage fuse to try to solve the problem of course.

Looks to me like your dimmer switch is bad.

Dimmer Switch? wheres that at sorry new to the car just trying to figure out what happened...i took out the gauge cluster itself and im missing the check engine light in the back could that have anything to do with it? like the circuit being disrupted?

check ALL your fuses lol even the ones by the drivers feet. I accidentally grounded a wire earlier today and blew three fuses lol. so just go through and check 'em all and dont go with a higher amp fuse tho.
