while going throught a previous post and someone posted about having 2.4l cams in the 2.0. I know there have been a lot of posts about doing a stock cam swap like the 4g63 guys can do I was just wondering on if anyone had any ideas of if this is really possible.
I understand that the magnet is on the opposite cam on the 2.4 and the neon cams, anyone have any ideas on this?

1. This isn't advanced.
2. For all the head work and fabbing you'd have to do just buy some Crane or Crowers. If it was easy and worth it everyone would be doing it.

sorry I guess I should have been more direct with my question what I'm looking for is a more technical answer for this and why it wouldn't exactly work. Ya know ask questions to learn more type of thing, I think I'm going with some turbo profile cams soon anyways just trying to start a discussion

I simple search would yield this regarding using DOHC neon cams:

The intake cam on the Neon hold the cam magnet, where the 2GNT exhaust cam hold the cam magnet, which is why you would have to switch the two. So, no Neon cams will not work...

yep I was here when that first came around but this was a specific question from a previous statement that someone here was running 2.4l cams in the 2.0 head.

No, that guy was told he was running 2.4l cams but didn't know if it was true or not "They were on the car when I got it, so I don't know for sure."
