113366, Tuning with H2O injection, any successful setups? Posted by MajinVejitaXV, May-20-04 04:19 AM
I've been thinking about multiple setups that I might persue, one of which is high compression with a turbo. This of course makes for more possibility of detonation, but one possible solution I've been thinking of is water injection. I've been told that you would have to tune for such things (because reducing the temperature of the intake charge would make it more dense, I'm guessing), but I was wondering has anyone here done this with a 2GNT?
If this isn't advanced, move it. I figured since it's dealing with actually tuning for a variable, and I want people to go into detail about what they did, it'd fit.

pm me man :) ive been running it successfully for about 2 weeks and i set it up myself, it works very good :) and my logger shows how it helps to pull timing and drop intake air temps :) its pretty sick _________ 96 talon esi-t san clemente, ca

Has anyone tried propane on a 2GNT? I'm not sure the exactly octane rating it boosts the fuel up to, but it has the same effect. Might be running one of these on my friends 3000GTSL-TT. =)
