11318, Are my valves okay? Posted by eklipz, Jan-03-02 11:49 PM
a few months ago my water pump failed and caused my belt to shred, i had the mechanic replace the water pump, tensioner pulley and timing belt and it started up fine. Does this mean my valves werent bent since it started right up? or should i have had them replaced? any info is greatly appreciated, thanks

Run a compression test to see what the compression is to find out if the valves are not sealing.

they're fine...the mechanic should have checked them out anyway.
