Can someone explain to me what exatly does an UDP do for my car 97 gs , can it cause any damage at all? any noticable hp gains? thanx alot

it replaces your stock crank pulley with a lighter and smaller one. yes you will notice the differece. and No it will not harm or damage anything in your car.

I am new at this, stupid question, where is it mounted, inside the engine or on the right side of the engine where the belts are visible.

it's located on the passenger side of the car, right where the power stearing/AC belts are. labor should be under $100.
yes the AFX is the one to get.
