Hey i just learned about some stuff called seafoam, supposed to clear up moisture in motor and get rid of carbon build up. and also free rings and lifters etc.

Has anyone else ever heard of this and used it? list results please if so

Ive used it on all my vehicles actually. Definitely makes a difference. Its helped with some hesitation, stumbling, and all around feel. I always do it near an oil change, then do the spark plugs too.

Only thing I would recommend is to go to your Dodge dealer and buy some Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner. Its about 5 bucks a can and is IMO, better than Seafom.

Either Seafoam or Mopar CCC, best to get the car hot, spray/suction into motor closest to TB, let car sit for a while with hood shut and in the sun. Then start, and do a few WOT runs from a stop until the white smoke stops pouring out ;)

Just grab a vacuum hose.

On your IM, there is a three nipple piece kinda toward the pass side. The middle one will be plugged, or the CC line will go into it. Just unplug/disconnect it, put a piece of hose on, and your set.

But if you havent bought the Seafoam yet, I highly recommend getting the Mopar CCC, you just take off your air intake and spray into the TB.

I never used it in the gas tank or crank case. I will use the Lucas FI cleaner every 6 months or so though. As far as the crank case, I just change the oil every 3k miles with good oil.

GM makes something like that too and is the BEST that I have used.

I am thinking about using seafoam, but I have heard that it might take so much carbon crap out of the engine that it might start having small leaks. That and the fact that you can hydrolock your engine easily with it made me decide not to use it. My engine runs fine so why would I want to use it anyway?

If you hydro lock an engine by running seafoam through it then you don't need to be working on cars imo. It's easy to use, you can put some pliers on a vac line to slow the intake of the fluid down and hold the reve around 1500 or 2k and let it run its course. A leak is a leak my friend, kind of like how everyone says that if you use synthetic oil on an engine that has high miles on it you will mess up the seals and it will cause leaks.....no....it makes your leaks more obvious, you had the leak all along.
