ok i have a header obviously for the 4g63, thats equal length and i just curious if it fits the 420a head i not really wanting to take my turbo off and log mani to check, so if anyone knows if the bolt pattern for the 4g is same as 420

What about just cutting the flange off and welding a 420a flange on it. How close are the runners to being in the right position?

Fairly close, but if it's cast, good luck welding it. Also consider the fitment, it'll most likely put your turbo in a less than optimal position.

if you really feel like cutting and welding a premade manifold for a different car, look at the SR20 manifolds.
those will at least put you on the correct side of the engine bay.

however i still maintain that you should just have one made for your application
