110115, PEP 1mm oversized stainless valves Posted by Jungy, Sep-26-08 10:57 AM
I am posting this just as a FYI for those of you in the market for 1mm oversize stainless valves. Cimotorsports.net has the PEP 1mm o/s ss valves priced at $169.99 for the set of 16 valves. Well I found the same PEP valves at hdmaddog.com for $87.21. I just received my valves today and cross referenced the part numbers for the intake valves and the exhaust valves and they are the exact same as the valves cimotorsports sells for just about twice the price. I ordered mine last Friday and received them today, so it took a week, and the final price after shipping was $99.54. Over all i am very pleased with the great price and good customer service.

My worry is: How good can 170.00 set of valves be? Thats 10.50 a valve? Let me know how they work for you in a bout a year so we can track how well they hold up.

I can report to you too. I just put in PEP +1mm SS valves in my head for my new build. Bought them from CI as well, damnit, lol.

I've had them in my car for around 14k and they are fine so far. I just looked at them too since the head is off of the car :(

Hate to bring a topic back from the dead, but could someone update us on the pep valves since some of the members have used them now. I plan on having s/s valves put in my head, but would like to know if these are worth it or not.

slo2g should chime in on this, he's running fine still. I'm sure they're fine. Hell, I ran stock on 20psi just fine. Car's down right now, but i'll tell you that hahn's RS was running stock valves the whole time while breaking records
