109895, Reading your plugs - important lost art Posted by Star Turbo Talon, Aug-31-08 06:02 PM
I was doing some cleaning in the older files I have from tuning and I figured some of these links on spark plugs would benfit a few of you guys. I also did a search an found soem new ones so you could read more and get a clearer understanding.
There is a lot of information and many of the details are given by Carburated based tuning mentalities. These dont completely apply to a fuel injected motor however a great deal of the info does. Stop throwing away all your plugs when you foul them out and take a close look....you might see your issue.

Dont get discouraged by the points made to look down into the plug well to see where the Mixture ring is on the porcelain. That is something used for carburated motors.
