It's not a bad deal, you won't see the extra 10-12 hp they say, but at the very least it's nicer looking than the ugly stock cast one

Jeep 60mm TB is under 100.
Find a GST muffler, should be around 50ish.
UDP you can sometimes find for 100 or less.
Intake system are under 100 used (paid 75 for a AEM V2).
Check out those :thumbsup

where did you get the v2 from? i've been wanting one of those, but they usually cost $300.

since he said used, your best bet is to find one on ebay. For the most part though a pipe is a pipe is a pipe. You can get a cheapo ebay CAI or RAI and put a good filter on it and have yourself an intake for $50. Again, it is highly unlikely you'll be able to feel a difference between stock intake vs. ebay intake vs. aem v2. You'll be able to hear a difference but that's about it

A better bet might be an eBay short ram intake and GST rear section. That should be well under $100. Shop around enough and you might have enough left to swap out to a nicer, K&N filter for the intake.
Header won't really give you any more power. It does more to alter the power delivery than anything else. Also lends itself well to making the exhaust louder.

I was actually looking at a black header from the same seller the other day... my stock one has a crack in it though, so I'll either be buying one of these or a used stock one from the junkyard. I got other things to spend money on first though. If you do get it, be sure to post about how well it fits. I'm doubting you'll see more than 1 or two hp out of it, but like the others said it will alter your power band, if I remember from reading, it shifts the power band down slightly to give you slightly more effective power at the low - mid rpms.
If you're looking for a good place to start gaining power, try reading through the power stages section. You can get to it by navigating through the main page of the website, before you enter the forums. Like the others said, gst catback, cold air intake, and either a ported throttle body or a jeep throttle body are some inexpensive mods that you can start with.
Just for reference, the set up I'm thinking about starting with (based on what I've learned from hovering over the power stages as well as the forum) is a used gst catback from the junkyard, maybe a magnaflow cat, an ebay header, a cold air intake (I already have an aem dryflow filter, I just need a pipe for it), and maybe I'll get my throttle body ported and my intake manifold ported to match it. Depends on where my money is at. It won't be killer power or anything, but it should make for a decent improvement over stock.

Yeah, I was gonna just buy an eBay intake and get a K&N filter for it, but crusing around on here one day in January, I found a V2.
Only reason I have it, I personally believe that a pipe is a pipe too :P

Good choice I wish I would've bought ceramic because I bought the ebay chrome ones and the chrome burned off on my first 20 min run the first time I started my motor. Let me know how those fit because my downpipe didnt come far enough towards the front of the car so I had to pull on it to get it on the header. Good thing it has a flex pipe.

Tux, Why not just coat the ones you have with ceramic paint then?
You could also look into covering the pealed chrome with headerwrap if you wanted.
Not a big deal either way, but you could save yourelf some money, especially since you're lookin to save up for a paint job.
just my .02
