109774, Issue With Fuel Delivery (Elect)
Posted by Nissaka, Aug-20-08 06:43 AM
Ok, my car had some issues starting for awhile. However, when it would finally start it would run just fine. Finaly it stopped starting, we replaced fuel filter, injectors, and fuel pump.

Still there is now start, if I wire the pump to a switch connected to the battery it will start but with high idle (high fuel pressure). And when we would test to see if there was power coming out of the fuel pump harness the light would come on but not bright. Unfortunatly we don't have a multimeter to figure out amperage output.

Anyone have any idea's what might be wrong? We have power that seems to be coming to the pump and when the pump is connected to a battery we get fuel.

Thanks to you car gurus.

Did the rewire, sitting at about 3500 idle. Having issues finding the relay. Thanks for all the help
