Anyone have any experience with those Bosch High-Output Alternators? Something like they're putting out 160 Amps instead of the Stock 90?
My Alternator just Shit-Out on me, maybe a blessing in disguise, I have a List of things I need to do anyways, Finish Brake Job, New Prothane Mounts, Oil Change, etc.
I don't want to drop that extra cash on a "High-Output" Alternator unless it's pretty damn good. Let me know, Thanks!

I might be Mistaken, I Apologize if I am, but I thought those were the Numbers I saw while I was looking on either Summit or J C Whitney's Site.
Those might've just been Bosch's Numbers, possibly Generic, and not Mitsubishi's.

There is actually an alternator Jeep makes that fits directly in our car and puts out 160A for about $200. If you're interested I can ask my friend for more details as he is the one that told me about this just a couple weeks ago - too bad I already bought my 200A Iraggi Alternator for $440 last summer!

Okso he didn't specify which model since he was busy and couldn't think of it off-hand but he said it only works if you hvae a 4g63 or 4g64 and it is a Saturn alt. I'll have to ask him another day what model Saturn it comes from...

ya sorry to get any hopes up...I drive a 420a myself so I know what it would be like to hear about this and then find out it's only for the 4g63 - adding to the list of reasons I wished I had saved up for the TSI...
