http://www.maperformance.com/weapon-r-race-sheet-metal-intake-manifold-2g-dsm.html Another thing I stumbled upon tonight....have a hard time believing you'd gain 50hp in anything but the most perfect of engines but what are your guys' thoughts on this one?

Oh....well even if its for the 4g63, has anyone used one or heard of one being used where a 30 or more hp gain was actually seen? Even 30hp for $500 is amazing....

Maybe, if you were already at a power level where the intake manifold was a major bottle neck.
I know the 4g63 guys can only get so far with the stock manifold.

Forced induction takes well to increases in intake/exhaust component volume. Pay NASA engineers a million dollars to design the perfect intake for even a fully built and tuned all motor DSM and you might see 10bhp from it.

+1 To what Driggs said. But you couldn't contract NASA for that paltry sum. :P

so do you guys recommend using a aftermarket intake manifold if your not doing forced induction just na

nope, unless your doing a wild NA setup and using MSnS, id just get a good port/polish and a bored out TB and call it good for a while until you either need the high flow for high-comp NA or Turbo
