109339, Project killer begins.
Posted by eclipse982nrRST, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
I am making this, the cars last and final step in its stages of becoming a fucking monster.

I am naming it, 'Project killer'

I drove the car for 2 months and its not tits enough for me, so, it will be about a 2-3 month long project and hoping to get it done before Halloween so I can hit the track before it closes and the dyno to get it tuned.

Nothing will be revealed until its done. However, I will be posting pics and success as the project goes on.

So, tomorrow starts tear down and trans/motor removal.

Im so happy :)

Last time you will EVER see this engine bay like this guys.

Do you have any idea how atrocious the rod ratio would be on a stroked 2.4L block? As if it's not bad enough already...
109374, RE: Project killer begins.
Posted by AMM, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
and ur pistons speeds are throught the roof by like 6500 rpms. but u will get an ass load of torque if thats what ur looking for.

Why are you pictures always so damn small?? Should be a rule, no smaller than 640X480 or instant ban.

IDK, Thats how Imageshack hosts them, and my sigs were taken from a link from a website.
109387, RE: Project killer begins.
Posted by 2GeclipseRS, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
Fuck, i'll put my sig up like that too.

My vote goes to a destroked 2.4L

mmmmmm stroked long rod 2.4 w/ 75mm TB

all ya need now is some ITB's and a Carbon Surge Tank and you'll look just like a baby Supra or Skyline! lol
109391, RE: Project killer begins.
Posted by shybuck, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
Is there even a stroker kit for the 2.4 anymore?
109395, RE: Project killer begins.
Posted by Flipboi89, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
woo i got 3 bidders on 2.4.. any on evo III swap??

also you can resize the pics yourself with photobucket if you didnt know
109396, RE: Project killer begins.
Posted by totaleclipse_05, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
Probably decided to step it up and go with thedawg's 4G63 swap kit.
109397, RE: Project killer begins.
Posted by AMM, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
yeah dcr makes a 2.4 to 2.6 stroker kit to the tune of like 4000.00 or something rediculous like that.......... r/s ratio really goes to shit and pistons speeds are through the roof.
