I searched to see if I could find an answer and couldn't so here it is,
if I put my hi flow cat on my 97 GS since the o2 sensor is right behind it will I have any problems with the computer because it is a hi flow
cat?

you may get a cel you may not. You can prevent the cel by wiring in a resistor or something. I forget what exactly you need but i'm sure a quick search will give you your answer

I took a look but im not sure. I am rebuilding my motor and stuff myself in my garage so who knows what kind of problems ill have. hell the OBX fuel rail could even cause problems I think. Plus the head is being port and polished and I have 4-2-1 headers for it and it already has a greddy cat back exhaust so a cel wont surprise me.

I've never had a problem with a High flow cat kicking a CEL

I have read that to stop the CEL you can screw into the bung a spark plug anti foul device you get from the local parts shop. They drill out the small end and screw in your O2 sensor. This moves it out of the path of the faster flowing exhaust and no more CEL.

Depends entirely on the high flow cat. Most cheap high-flows have removed enough catalyst material that you'll throw a CEL because it isn't adequately catalyzing the unburnt hydrocarbons.
