Saw this on ebay. Do you think it actually works? Applicable to our cars? Truth or gimmick?

That is a real part. What it does is take the linear slope of your oil pressure and make it non linear by cutting the max oil pressure that is dilivered to the upper oil galley without affecting the lower oil galley. The upper oil galley is located in the head.
Honestly, unless you have a problem with your lifter over pumping and causing too much overlap, this isnt going to help you. If you spend a lot of time in the high RPM areas and are using an oil pump that delivers 60 psi or more then it might be a consideration. 90% of cars out there will not benefit from this. True track and rally cars MIGHT.
Most likely this installs in the head or in the top of the shortblock where the oil is pumped from the lower galley to the upper galley. Good chance it wont work for our motor and extremely good chance that it wont benefit you. Spend your money elsewhere.

Run away! I've dyno tested this part. It loses power in the top end. Don't waste your money.
This supposedly works for the SRT but it definitely doesn't work for our cars. It is made to limit pressure up top so that you don't have lifters pump up hard. I definitely believe that it limited pressure up top. So much so that it was a detriment to power. I think that was the problem. My guess is that the lifters themselves couldn't maintain and were collapsing.
Let's start off by prefacing this with my car's specifics; 2.0 NA, 12.5 comp, Crower 3's, Crower springs, SS valves, P+P head, 8200 redline, 2.4 valve train, MSnS, I guess that's the pertinent stuff.
Wether or not the SRT reacts differently, I can't say.
The car ran basically the same line up to peak powerish (actually a couple of slight gain spots). You can source out the graphs for a bigger better look.

But right before peak we had the waterfall happen. Here's a more focused shot:

You can see how it just starts falling off. We did three runs (the red, extended one is obviously without the mod). First run had the cooling off time of me putting in the mod while the car was on the dyno (maybe 15 minutes tops from shut off to start up). That was the "best" one (the pink? one). Then we did two more pretty much back to back (that held pretty much the same line).
To me that is definitive proof that this mod does not do what it says it does. No bashing, no hatred, no anger, no axe to grind, just the facts as I see them.
