Car was running fine and it just popped up this afternoon..I checked the keydance on the car the codes that came up were...

12,31,55

Two second search yielded a whole list of them:

12: Power was disconnected in the last 50 key starts
31: Evaporative purge solenoid / Clogged purge line / Vacuum hose / Evaporative emission canister clogged
55: End of error messages.

Yeah, my car has had that code since I bought it.

Check all your vaccuum lines though.

as tek said check all your vac lines.
also your evap canister is in the front passneger fender well so look in the passenger side grill for the canister and from underneath you should be able to check it all out.

and dont worry the car will run just fine till you fix it.

I checked out that evap canister and the all the vacuum lines and everything seems to be working correctly...I just don't understand why the light is on?....
