I run 97 GS model with minor mods, lately i've been losing power in 5th gear. On the straight aways i'm fine, but when going up hills the power stops kicking in. even going low enough to where i have drop in gears to keep going. I'm thinkin my throwout bearing may be givin way. Anyone got any other possibilities

Throwout bearing won't do that. More likely you're misfiring under load. Check your plugs, wires, coil.

start with a good tuneup and a compression test, loss of power in 5th gear will have nothing to do with a bad TO bearing.

don't forget fuel filter.... it'll bite your ass with things like that.
