I noticed you can get a Pacesetter Monza Exhaust System 2.0 Litre 95-97 for 159.00. That is really cheap! Is this because it is junk or is it pretty good? thanx.

this has been brought up a couple times, pace setter is a good company def. worth the money greddy and all them spend all thier money for testing into making it sound better ect... if you dont mind the yellow in the muffler that goes away after a couple hundred miles then def get it you can spend alot less in just using it as a cat back then getting a universal muffler thats what im about to do, i already have my muffler and planning to get the pace setter very soon hope that helps

Exactly what PowerEclipes Said.
Alot of peeps are doing that on this forum. Getting the pacesetter cat-back, junking the pacesetter muf, then getting a universal muffler of your choice and having that welded on. Probably the cheapest way to go.

Why would you junk the pacesetter muffler? Looks or performance?

I would say Both.
The looks of that thing are damn ugly.
And the performance from a universal muff, depending on what you get, could be slightly better then the pacesetter. You can also get one that sounds better too. IMO

I have the pacesetter on my ride right now. It is pretty good. I gutted out my cat when i did it. I am thinking on putting on another muffler though sometime in the future. The yellow went away really quick.
