i was told i can go to a junk yard or somewhere and get parts off a GS-T and put on my 97 GS.... is that possible and how much you think it would cost?

yeah if you are planning of swapping the whole motor, ecu, and drive line parts.

better off selling your car for a GST, or turbocharging your car with the HRC, or star kit.

Can't be done, the GST engine is a totally different engine we have a 420A they have a 4G63. Everything is backwards, nothing will bolt up to the 402A motor from the 4G63 motor.

Theoretically you could but the turbo and exaust manifold from the GST and then cut the flange off your GS manifold and have it welded to the GST manifold, but the project doesn't stop there. You still have to think about piping to run the air to your TB, and if you want to run more than 4 or 5 psi you have to think about stuff like fuel pressure risers, wastegates, blow off valves, upgraded fuel pump, and don't forget the intercooler. So if you're not up for a big project and having your car down for a while you would probably be better off with a kit like he mentioned earlier.
