10800, Aftermarket exhaust rubbing fix

Well, I finnally got rid of that annoying ass rattle. It seems either all the manufacturers make the bends to short and/org put the hangers to far back, or mitsu moved the hangers at some point.

I just put in a 1/4" spacer to kick the whole exhaust to the back of the car and the rattle is gone! Its so nice to have a quiet car again (well, sorta, the dunk is pretty loud).

I got a spacer at my local exhaust shop for 95 cents, you can also use a flat flange and dremmel it to the size of the gasket. One other option is to cut the flange off of the old exhaust and grind it smooth of both sides, then dremel the inside to the gasket.

Had a Greddy EVO catback put on, the thing rattled like a motha around fast corners, turns out at the part where 2 pieces of the pipes were joined the bolts was put in reversed. So the threads were sticking out the side the head of the bolt was supposed to be at and it was hitting this hanger on the uncarriage of the car, flipped the bolt and that fixed it, Doh.
