So I'm putting my cams in and I notice that my AEM cam gears have a notch in the middle pointing both up and down. That means I could put the gears on upside down. How do I know which notch to use when installing? How do you post pictures?

It's up to you on how you wish to align your pins with your timing adjustment marks. Technically you can choose which side of the gear you want up (whether it be the timing adjustment marks or the blank side). With AEM cam gears they use the neon markings which are wrong.

You will need to line the cam gears up with your old stock gears and remark the timing mark in the valley instead of the tooth.

The aems actually don't have the mark on the tooth like the fidenzas. Thanks for telling me about the dowells that should make the difference.

ok i got everything installed but after i torqued everything down the timing components will not turn... whats up?
