Ok I read the compression test numbers are suppose to be between 170 and 225 for stock. Well I did a cold test today and only did a cold test because I am in the process of checking my cooling system becase I though I had a blown headgasket, but turned out to be a hold in the heater hose and hadn't had time to allow my car to fully warm up without losing a LOT of coolant. But to my understanding, cold test numbers should be lower than hot test numbers. Anyhow, the results of my test are as follows:

Cyl 1 = 220
Cyl 2 = 230
Cyl 3 = 215
Cyl 4 = 240

Now are these numbers ok? Or might I have a problem? My engine was rebuilt with parts from parts dinosaur, so I don't understand why my numbers are so high and/or why they seem to be all over the place. Am I good, or should I start looking for a problem?

New results (hot test this time)

Cyl 1 = 215
Cyl 2 = 230
Cyl 3 = 210
Cyl 4 = 235

The compression test reveals the condition of your piston rings. If the engine was recently rebuilt, it could be that the machinist who gapped the rings did things on the tight side since this is a naturally aspirated car. Those numbers are solid. Don't sweat them, imo.
