It is a (S)uper (A)ir (F)uel (C)ontrol unit. It conrolls the amount of fuel/ air mixture at differant level RPM's. (in short):) SEE YA!!!!!!!!!!!MWC

would a mildly tuned car benefit from an s afc?? are all afc's super??? is that really corn in my poo?? Does everyone that drives a camaro have a mullet???

S-AFC on an auto does help. I got a noticeble improvement by leaning out my fuel curve a little in the 3500+ RPM range. Pulls a little harder in the powerband. I'm still non-turbo (hopefully not for too much longer). If you get a turbo this is a must or some other sort of device that allows you to control the fuel mixture.
