106753, Whoops!!!! Help please!
Posted by ForceFed420a, Nov-03-07 09:56 AM
Okay, I accidentally dropped my bag containing my stock fuel injectors. I broke the plastic piece at the end (where it goes into the intake manifold) on two of them. It's the piece you'd have to remove in order to replace the O ring at that end.

Does anybody know what these things are called, and where I can get some new ones? I'd go to a yard, but they were so brittle, I'd like to get some new ones.

Any help???

Brian

Pintle caps?

The have those on eBay... I'm not sure which type you would need, though. You can also try calling a place that routinely services injectors (i.e. Fuel Injector Clinic), as they usually replace pintle caps.

http://www.injector.com/

Marren Motorsports, they do all my injector work (if you can't find them otherwise)

Pintle caps! Thanks a lot.

I was looking on injector.com, but our car wasn't listed. I'll give them a call though, they routinely say to do that if you don't see your car listed.

Thanks guys.

If I'm not mistaken, our injectors are the Bosch-style double O-ring injectors. You can find them on this page, the third choice down (Part #1402):

But either way, there's no reason not to call and confirm. Please post back with the correct part number for future reference.
