ok, idk wtf is going on.
I had a cel 14 (map sensor v prob)it was most likely due to my active FCD, set @ 4.7v. so i reset ecu, and cel goes away. yay.

well, as im driving, every now and then i feels like i missfire/cut out, my wide band shoots lean (17+) and then its all good for a few mins then again, feels like a missfire and goes lean for a millisec and back to crusing afr of ~14.7. this happens in any gear, and i was @ ~2500 rpm EGT 1200 +/- 100, -15in Hg, and at no time after ecu reset did i boost, i never put it into + pressure. so what could be causing this? im running the Port fueler, but since its -15in Hg, that really has nothing to do with it,and car should be under ECU control, Idle fpr is 48psi, i have a walbro 255, could it be my spark plugs? they are gapped to .30 and they are 1 range cooler ( i have le low comp pistons and im boosted). But there no CEL!? it did this at least 10 times in different gears at various speeds..? wtf? i need to figure this out b4 i go tuning my PF.
i looked and some reported that their FCD caused this or their TPS, i reset my PS earlier this week (took it out, made sure the spindle was all the way in)and the fcd is set @ 4.7v, but even then i dont boost ,so the fcd shoulnd matter?? and the battery is fully charged.

FCD is the version from the RX7 guys.

thanx in advance guys.

Maybe something with EGR (if still equipped)? Also if you're not boost much (>12ish) you really don't need the colder plugs. The standard ones actually work better, and don't detonate, give much better "normal" map driving and mpg

FWIW, i never noticed any difference between stock and one range colder in off-boost drivability.

i wasnt runnign boost that night, and i run more then 10 psi(~15 psi for now). yea it pretty much has to be map related id think. ill re check the connections. and no, theres no EGR. Ill just by pass the FCD then see if it does it, if it does then it must be in the wiring.
its odd that the ecu dosent pick up on it tho..

I'd just noticed a little more sluggish response, and a tad less mpg.

Make sure you double check the FCD connections. Sounded like potential fuel cut, but the fact that it happened at 2500 rpms would lead me more to believe its a faulty FCD/connection. Seems you may be getting voltage spikes in the MAP reading causing Temporary fuel cut. Just something you might want to check out.
