so i was wondering if by doing the egr block off mod will this cause me to fail emissions?and also i have my pcv line(-the pcv valve)going to my oil catch can.Will either of these affect passing emissions?

EGR should because you'll throw a code, catch can shouldn't unless if they pop the hood.

yes u will fail but if you have about $100-150 go to digitaltuning.com and invest in a pocketlogger. no u can't tune with it but it works and you can clear check engine lights and still pass emissions. i did it for two years in a row with no cat and egr!

Not true. Get UR facts STR8 B4 U post next time.
It is state/ county specific and just clearing the codes does not automatically = a pass. The laws vary greatly. For example here in Colorado they will not pass you unless you have met the drivetime/mileage requirements after clearing a CEL. And also here having the CEL on is not necessarily a fail either. It depends on what the code is for...

true, although i was unsure of his state. just stating what i know from experience with the state i live in. (MD)

thx for the input,haha but what really sucks is when i decided to do this mod it happend to be in the month where im due for emissions:nono its no biggy non the less plus the mod only costed a beer can anyways:]
