hello everyone, here is the problem I'm having: I'm working on May/96 Eclipse, the car doesn't spark at all. when I test the yellow wire from CMP, CKP, Speed Sensor and Pin #44 @ A107 it shows 2.9 V. but If I start to unplugging sensors, the Voltage jump form 2.9 to 3.7 after one sensor is unplugged (it doesn't matter which one I've unplug). If I unplug all the sensors at once, it'll display 9v on yellow wire like it should. When I connected Snap On Scanner to the car, it's doesn't show the sensors is turning on when I cranked the car, I think it's because not enough power to sensors. Anyone have seen this before, please help! Thank you.

Do you have the CEL on?
What codes does it give?

I would start there first.

Also at first just make sure the connector on the ECU is clean, no corrosion. Seems as soon as power is needed, there is a voltage drop on a bad connection.

it's doesn't have CEL on, after i have crank the car for 15sec. and all the connector on ecu are clean. thanks

I'd double check all the grounds, I had a bad ground once, made the car do all sorts of odd things

Crank and camshaft position sensors are the ones that regulate the spark timing from the sparkcoil. You'll need these at least connected to the ECU. If they are bad you'll get no spark at times of fuel either.

I understand that you'll need all the sensors to be plugged in before you can get any spark from coil. This is why I'm checking these sensors one by one, and make sure I'm getting right voltage into each sensor and ecu output.

all the ground are secured, and I'm getting battery Volt on Pin 46 (I think this is the power feed to ecu). Am I missing something? what is the ground source for the ecu?

I don't think you'll need all the sensors plugged in. Otherwise if one is busted the engine would shut down iso ECU CEL comes up while driving. Just try.
