105661, safc-2 Posted by White_eclipse, Aug-14-07 04:11 PM
so i got a safc and im getting ready to try one of my projects with a home made supercharger. so what i was wondering is can i install the safc before i mess with it.so i want to install it and work out the problems with that first. when things go wrong i want to be able to narrow things out. can this be done, do i just leave the gain a 0?

well i wont let me post a picture. but i have two of them one is a Vw Corrado Supercharger and the other is a Mercedes supercharger from a 2.3 engine. both run about 6 to 8 lbs. i am going to make a plate to put it where my a/c pump was.

I do.
I'd like to pat you on the back for doing something fairly original. Awesome.
If you're going to use an SAFC, you're still going to need to retard the ignition somehow. MSD ignition control box maybe? With all the money you spend on both, you might have well bought megasquirt for less money.
Hope i helped a little bit. Good luck.

The answer to your question is yes, but as 2GeclipseRS pointed out, it won't help you with your project.
