I found the source to the fucking horendous noise my car has been making.

I pulled the tranny today for one last shot before it would be too late.

the fucking throw out bearing was on BACKWARDS
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It didn't rattle at all, it sounded like something was going to punch through the tranny or block. The spines on the clutch wore down the plastic of the "back" of the TOB.

I assume that's why it worked for a good 5 min drive before it got fed up. Sitting at idle it was ok, but if you rev'd it up BRAAKK BEERRAAACK BERACK
